Emirates Sports Medicine

Emirates Sports Medicine is a unique, independent health assessment facility, developed primarily for the world of professional sport, based in Palm Jumeirah, Dubai. The site provides an overview of the companies services, news and team and even includes a page promoting their ambassador Frank Lampard.

The website provided a great platform of knowledge and advice for patients and healthcare providers and has helped improve the companies online presence and boost client engagement with the company.

The website had a number of complex layouts which required carefully thought out HTML and CSS. The diagonal design feature seen through out the website posed an interesting challenge on how to code it in a way that worked across all device sizes. The header navigation was complex in that its content was constrained to a maximum width however the background needed to be full width. This was solved by some CSS trickery. Some of the hover animations were also custom coded, which added intrigue and delight to the user experience. The header also follows the user down the page for easier navigation as requested by the client. Features such as these help to improve usability and enjoyment of the website.
