David Shepherd is a wildlife charity who required a website that displayed an array of information about the company and included a number of complex functionality such as taking donations, selling animal adoption packages, promoting events, a blog all while presenting information in a fun and engaging way.
The donation system in particular was an interesting challenge to work on, whereby they wanted a donation box in the sidebar of every page that allowed users to select an animal they would like to donate to. This worked well because it would allow the user quick access to the donation button should they feel inclined to make a recurring or a single donation to the given animal.
Other interesting areas to work on include the, 'Our Work' section which displays information about the different species they work to protect, the projects that they have created to help fund this, galleries, statistics and maps. This area is rich with content and provides compelling information displayed in an eye catching way helping to promote the importance of donations.
