The previous iteration of my personal portfolio was a headless WordPress CMS that used Netlify on the backend and React on the frontend.
I wanted the design to stand out so I used a bold blue colour and added some shapes to help tie the design together and create a smoother viewing experience. I also used some subtle animations whereby the different elements moved as the user scrolled down, the buttons 'opened' on hover and there was a slick navigation tab on the right.
The navigation tab on the right hand side was perhaps the most complex area whereby it would hide and display depending on where the user was, automatically generate the links, and know which area of the site was currently in view.
Overall it was a great site and helped land me lots of exciting new work!
